MiStorage on your iPhone/iPad
Connecting to MiStoreage on your iPhone or iPad is as easy as the steps below.
On Campus folks need to connect to a wireless network
Off Campus folks need to sign into VPN using Cisco Secure Client (steps here)
In the files app on the upper right of of the Browse list, tap on the circle with three dots and then Connect to Server
Enter the storage server url and share into the Server window
smb://storage_server_name.m.storage.umich.edu/share_name
Connecting to your “U“ drive, you would enter
smb://umd.euc.it.umich.edu/home/uniqname
Type your login info as follows
umroot\uniqname
Type your password under the login and press Connect in the upper right.
The storage server should show up in the list on the right hand side.
