Applications that do not work with macOS Monterey

The applications at the above link have issues launching on macOS 12.0 (Monterey). Please note that older versions of applications were not tested here – only the most current versions of applications available in Managed Software Center were checked for the ability to launch successfully.

Cisco AnyConnect

As of the latest testing with AnyConnect, these issues were noticed under Big Sur and are still an issue with Monterey:

  • Remote network connections to Big Sur or Monterey systems with AnyConnect installed may become occasionally unreachable to SSH or Apple Remote Desktop/VNC connections (bug filed with Apple about this.)

 

Note that Apple Silicon (“M1”) Macs can only run macOS Big Sur or greater and “M1 Pro” and “M1 Max” Silicon Macs can only run Monterey, so any application that is unsupported on Big Sur or Monterey is also unsupported on Apple Silicon.
