macOS 14 and the Clock Offset
There have been some reports of the clock becoming offset after upgrading in Sonoma (possibly only on intel macs). This is due to be fixed in 14.3, but the workaround for now is to run this terminal command and then reboot, install your OS updates.
sudo rm /var/db/timed/com.apple.timed.plist
Install the latest version of macOS 14 right after reboot
