How to assign a device using Apple School Manager

Depending on the number of systems you are setting up, the engineering team may create a managed AppleID for you to be used with Apple School Manager.

You will first receive an email with details on how to reset the password for this managed AppleID. Accounts will be named using the convention "uniquename@appleid.umich.edu"

Once logged in, please follow the path below to assign your eligible device to our MDM server: "! Izzy for Mac Server - ITS-MWS Mac Engineering"

After the device has been assigned, please allow up to one hour before building the system. This time allows for enrollment information to be synced with the MDM server.
