MiWorkspace Only: Retire Systems

Systems may be deleted from Otto and/or from Active Directory/SCCM/MDT either individually on a System’s page or in bulk from a group. In MiWorkspace, however, Depot retires large batches of systems in bulk and they don’t fall neatly into batches of groups. For that reason, MiWorkspace Managers have access to the MiWorkspace System Retirement option on the Navigate menu.

Enter a list of serial numbers (not computer names!) to be deleted and then click Next. Confirm Systems To Delete to proceed.

The next screen confirms your choices and gives you the opportunity to spot any typos or issues.

Make sure you understand the issue around deleting from AD/SCCM/MDT as the form describes, and proceed when ready.
