Applications that want to “find devices on your local network” will pop up with an “Allow” or “Don’t Allow” dialog the first time any account logs into a computer. According to Apple, this is “Expected Behavior” and we do not have the ability to control this pop-up. Some of the common apps that may do this would be non-Safari web browsers (Chrome, Edge, etc), Davinci Resolve, the “Omni” apps, Resolume Arena, Matlab and a number of others.
Some applications will ask you to Allow (or not) the ability to “access data from other apps”. Apps of note doing this include -- but are not limited to – the silent Adobe Acrobat updater, the Adobe “CCLIbrary” on restart, Matlab, Snagit, Zoom and Zotero.
Building a computer from scratch will show a “Welcome To Mac” screen before you can log in. As of the current betas, we can not hide that screen.
